This is not your typical book on digital photography — Dave wrote it to answer all the questions he had about digital cameras and photography techniques when he was starting out. He has been a photographer for about 20 years, and in that time he has read a lot of books and magazines about the art and science of photography. [+/-]

The world of digital photography is changing fast. It’s just crawling out of its infancy, but it has a long way to go before digital is as common—or easy to use—as a 35mm point and shoot camera. But this is a great time to purchase and use a digital camera.

This book is organized to 4 parts (16 chapters). Dave wrote this book so that you could sit down and read it through like a novel if you’d like to—but he realizes few people will actually do that. If you’re looking for specific information, he has organized the book so topics should be easy to find.
